Kern River Fly Fishing Report November 25, 2020 Quick Report from the Kern River Fly Shop Guides who

Kern River Fly Fishing Report : Our late fall fishing is still very good! A few spots on the river have rising fish midday eating Blue Winged Olive emergers, adults and spinners. BWO Parachutes (18-20) and Brooks Sprouts (20-22) have been catching a few.

Most fish have been holding deeper, so a two fly nymph rig has been best. Euro Nymphing has been producing good results with Pats Rubber Legs and Soft Hackle Pheasant Tails. We also have a BUNCH of new Euro Nymphs in the shop and the Tungsten Jig Hot Tag PT has been a steady producer right away. I’m really looking forward to testing many of the other new Euro patterns. They look fantastic!! Pinks have been good too-Frenchies, TungstenTeddy’s and Kern Candy have been getting reactions from stocked fish. Share the stoke! Rob Buhler

Kern River Fly Fishing Report : 20 Mile Section water temps have dropped to 39 degrees, but some anglers are doing ok. Arash and his friends had a great day with us .

Arash and his friends had a great day yesterday on the Upper Kern River
