BEGINNER GUIDED TRIP
The class includes basic entomology, casting, knots and fly fishing techniques and strategies used on the Kern River and most western freestone streams. Most of the class takes place on the water.

2 Day Overnight Fly Fishing Adventure
Approximately 8 Hours of fly fishing each day (includes all flies and terminal tackle). This trip does not include food: This trip is for the fly angler that has an adventure spirit and wants to get in some areas of the upper Kern not fished by many people. Some of these trips are easy and some are strenuous. Let us tailor a trip for your hiking ability.

GOLDEN TROUT TRIPS
Catch the most beautiful trout in the world " California's State Freshwater Fish" the Golden trout, in meandering streams flowing through meadows surrounded by beautiful pine tree forests. This is where Golden trout live and Kern River Fly Fishing Guide Service can take you there. It doesn't matter if you are brand new to fly fishing or a seasoned angler, these fish are plentiful and you will have a great time trying to catch them. We offer full and half day trips to catch the beautiful Golden trout.
Bass Fly Fishing Float Trips
Bass fly fishing on the Lower Kern river for Largemouth and Smallmouth bass is something every fly angler should enjoy. Smallmouth were put in the river in the 1940's and they have sustained a healthy population since. Smallmouth are one of the hardest fighting freshwater fish on the planet. Largemouth bass have entered the lower river via "the flume" and below Lake Isabella dam. Both fish species are prevalent throughout the entire Lower Kern river.
Carp Fly Fishing Trips
Want a challenge? Want to catch big fish on a fly rod? We've all caught Carp with conventional tackle and bait, but have you ever caught a carp on a fly? Join the new wave of fly anglers catching Carp on a fly. Lake Isabella is known for having large Carp and we have developed specific Carp flies for the Lake Isabella fishery over the last 20 years. Book a trip with us to target one of the most enjoyable, hard fighting and explosive fish to catch on a fly.
Fly Fish the Surf
We offer fly fishing in the surf guided trips along the coast of California, from Cambria down to San Diego. We target surf species such as Corbina, Halibut, Leopard Sharks, Surf Perch, Yellow Finn Croaker and Stripped Bass. We often catch other species as well. If its you first time or your a seasoned fly angler, come join us for an enjoyable and memorable session in the surf. All gear is provided.
